Sign-up Help and Tips
- Join UFF-FIU today at the FEA membership portal
- UFF dues are 1% of your base salary, which will be deducted automatically from the bank account information that you supply upon sign up.
- If you have any questions or issues, contact membership@uff-fiu.org
- Use a non-FIU email (state law prohibits the union from sending certain kinds of communication to university email addresses).
- When entering your salary information, be sure NOT to enter a comma or decimal point.
- When selecting your payment schedule, you’ll have several options which we have explained in detail below.

Bank ACH – 18 (FY 2023-2024) |
18 payments will be deducted over 9 months – or roughly biweekly with your paycheck if you’re on a 9-month contract. |

Bank ACH – 21 (FY 2022-2023) |
21 payments will be deducted over 10 months – or roughly biweekly with your paycheck if you’re on a 10-month contract. |

Bank ACH – 26 (FY 2023-2024) |
26 payments will be deducted over 12 months – or roughly biweekly with your paycheck if you’re on a 12-month contract. |

Payroll Deduction – 26 (FY 2023-2024) |
DO NOT choose this option. Payroll deduction was banned July 1, 2023. |

* Note faculty can choose to pay their dues under any payment schedule regardless of their contract type. In all cases, the total dues will amount to 1% of the faculty’s base salary. |
