Since our founding in 1976, we have worked tirelessly to improve the working conditions for our members across campus. But, we are only as strong as our membership. Please consider joining today or getting more involved in the union that fights for you!\n<!--p>\nThe FIU administration and the United Faculty of Florida (UFF-FIU) are pleased to announce a tentative salary agreement for the 2024-27 academic years.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/wordpress\/2024\/08\/22\/bargaining-update\/\">Bargaining Update<\/a>\n<\/ul\u2192\n<!--p>\nWith the union busting bill officially signed into law, our union will be decertified if 60% of our bargaining unit are not dues paying members. \n<ul>\n<li>Starting July 1st, HR is prohibited from collecting dues via payroll deduction. \n<li>This means only those who have converted onto another method of payment will be counted as a member! \n<\/ul>\n<p>\nWith so much at stake, our union\u2019s entire leadership team is focused on getting our members onto eDues so they can keep their union membership benefits. We\u2019d like to get this transition made as soon as possible so we can get back to the important work of strengthening our union and improving our contract.\n<p>\nPlease don\u2019t delay any longer.
