2024 General Election Information
Early voting: In Miami-Dade County, early voting is Monday, October 21 through Sunday, November 3. MMC will serve as an early voting site. Registered Miami-Dade County voters can cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., October 21 through November 3 on the first floor of the Student Academic Success Center (SASC). Vote-by-mail ballots can also be returned there. If you are not registered in Miami-Dade County, look up early voting locations on your county’s Supervisor of Elections website. Check your county’s specific early voting dates here. Bring a current, valid photo ID with a signature (e.g., driver’s license or passport). Check out the full list of accepted IDs here.
Vote-By-Mail: The deadline to request a Vote-By-Mail Ballot is Thursday, October 24 by 5 p.m. Click here and select your county to submit your request. You’ll need a driver’s license, Florida ID, or the last four digits of your social security number. We strongly encourage you to sign up through your county’s Supervisor of Elections website to track your ballot. You can return your completed Vote-by-Mail Ballot securely through the mail to your Supervisor of Elections’ Office or in-person at designated secure ballot intake stations (drop boxes). Return your ballot as quickly as possible! For your vote to count, your Supervisor of Election must receive your voted ballot no later than 7 p.m. (local time) on Election Day. If sent by mail, it can be sent via the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any other private or commercial carrier, as long as it arrives at the Supervisor of Elections’ Office by 7 p.m. (local time) on Election Day. Online, email, and fax returns are not accepted. Voted Vote-By-Mail Ballots cannot be returned at polling places on Election Day. If you wish to vote at a polling place on Election Day, bring your Vote-By-Mail Ballot with you to the polling place for it to be cancelled before you vote a regular ballot.
Last day to vote: The final day to vote is Tuesday, November 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On this date, you must vote at your local precinct polling place as assigned by your county Supervisor of Elections. You may locate your precinct polling place through the Florida Division of Elections Voter Precinct Lookup. Bring a current, valid photo ID with a signature (e.g., driver’s license or passport). Check out the full list of accepted IDs here. With so many early voting options, don’t wait until November 5th to vote!
Look up your voter registration status: If you need to look up your voter registration status, you can do so through the Florida Department of State Voter Information Lookup website.
