On June 2nd, 2025, from 8 to 10 AM, FIU faculty, students, alumni, and other community members will gather outside the FIU’s Board of Trustees meeting (GC lawns across from GC Ballrooms where BOT meeting will take place) to say “NO to FIU – ICE 287 (g) agreement” which “delegate[s] to state and local law enforcement officers the authority to perform specified immigration officer functions under the agency’s direction and oversight.”
