Please vote to ratify the tentative salary agreement.
The members of the bargaining unit, meaning all faculty covered by the collective bargaining agreement, are invited to vote thumbs up or thumbs down on ratifying the language.
Voting will take place Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Voting venues will be located at MMC, BBC, and the Engineering Center:
- Modesto Maidique Campus: Green Library, First Floor, in The Breezeway
- Biscayne Bay Campus: Wolfe University Center, next to the entrance to the dining commons
- Engineering Campus: First floor lobby of the Engineering Center

Summary of the Proposed Changes to the Collective Bargaining Agreement – 2025
Changes to the salary article:
1. Effective by the second full pay period after this agreement is ratified, all eligible in-unit employees will receive:
- A raise to base salaries of 1.5% or $1,500, whichever is greater (adjusted to a $2,007.70 minimum for 12-month faculty).
- A one-time merit bonus based on last year’s annual evaluation scores of $1,000 for faculty rated Satisfactory or Good, $1,500 for faculty rated Very Good, or $2,000 for faculty rated Outstanding.
- These raises will be retroactive to the start of the 2025-2026 contract period
2. For the 2026-2027 contract year, the administration has re-committed to the raises outlined in the 2024-2027 CBA:
- A retention raise of one percent (1%) or one thousand dollars ($1,000), whichever is greater (adjusted to a $1338.46 minimum for 12-month faculty).
- A merit raise of two and one-quarter percent (2.25%) of the total bargaining unit base salary payroll.
- The option to negotiate for one-time retention payments.
